Shiny Hunting! DexNav Chaining, Masuda Method, SRing, Chain Fishing, Horde Method, and more Playlist!

DexNav Chaining for shinies are used in the games: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. DexNav chaining is easy, and the higher the chain goes, the easier it is to find a shiny! DexNav chaining for shinies is useful since there are so many different Pokemon you can get in certain areas! The variety with DexNaving is endless!

The Masuda Method (or Masuda Methoding) for shinies was discovered before Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire days. The Masuda method was used back in the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl shiny hunting days, the Pokemon Black and White shiny hunting days, and the Pokemon X and Y shiny hunting days. The Masuda Method is used for egg hatching; making eggs more likely to deliver a shiny than not. What you need for doing the Masuda method is to have a foreign Pokemon breeding with a different native Pokemon. For example, having a Japanese Ditto mating with an American Charizard. This increases the chance of you getting a shiny Pokemon through the Masuda method.

SRing (Soft-resetting) for a shiny is all luck-based, as the amount the individiual resets the game in hopes for a shiny Pokemon will not get any more likely the more the user does it. This can be used for Pokemon such as starter Pokemon (trying to get Shiny Mudkip, Shiny Treecko or Shiny Torchic), for legendary Pokemon such as the mirage spot Pokemon (Shiny Lugia, Shiny Ho-Oh, Shiny Raikou, Shiny Entei, Shiny Suicune, Shiny Heatran, Shiny Cresselia, Shiny Mesperit, Shiny Uxie, Shiny Azelf, Shiny Dialga, Shiny Palkia, Shiny Giritina, Shiny Cobalion, Shiny Terrakion, Shiny Virizion, Shiny Thundurus, Shiny Tornadus, Shiny Landorus, Shiny Reshiram, Shiny Zekrom, and Shiny Kyurem). Users can also SR (soft-reset) for shinies such as the Regi-Trio; Shiny Regirock, Shiny Regice, and Shiny Registeel. So yeah, there are A LOT of Pokemon you can SR (soft-reset) for in hopes of getting a shiny Pokemon, but that is all luck-based. Unfortunately, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza and Deoxys are all shiny-locked in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, so do not bother trying to SR (soft-reset) for them.

Chain fishing is known as the easiest ways to chain Shiny Pokemon! All the user has to do is get into the water in the area of the shiny they want to receive, pull out their Old Rod, Good Rod or Super Rod, and keep on chaining for a shiny through chain fishing! However, if the user moves at all or mis-clicks, the chain for the chain fishing WILL be broken!

Horde hunting for shinies is another tactic. While hoarding does not boost up every time you do it, in other words, there is no such thing as chain hoarding, there is still more of a chance to get a shiny Pokemon than normally since you have 5 chances in one encounter. Users should have a Pokemon with Sweet Scent, and wherever you are, you have a chain to hoard for a shiny Pokemon!
