We go over the process of installing the Morimoto RetroQuik system for the aftermarket "halo projector" headlights from companies like Spyder or Spec D tuning. Replacing the crappy aftermarket projector in their headlights with the Morimoto Mini H1 6.0 Bi-xenon greatly enhances the light output on the ground, not only restoring visibility, but enhancing it compared to the OEM headlights.

The only step not covered in this demonstration is the trimming of the projector. 3 of the corners on the reflector bowl need to be notched with a dremel tool so that the plastic adjuster knobs can be snapped into the new RetroQuik plate without any interference. Otherwise, the system is completely "bolt on" since no other modifications need to be made to the housings themselves.

Check out our other videos for more details on baking open the headlights, and resealing them properly.
