Presenting the Double Decker Express Trains ( Diesel Powered ) captured across various zones of the Indian Railways. These are two decked fully air conditioned LHB coaches comprising of 120 seats per coach. Presently there are only Chair cars in these trains and are categorized as Super-fast Trains .

The main objective behind starting Double Decker's were to de-congest the heavily crowded routes where there was a demand for a second train. Double Decker's being fully Air conditioned not every one can afford to pay the heavy fare hence some of these trains have resulted in a poor patronage.

Double Decker's follow the concept of Intercity Trains which departs from source during the Day time and returns back to source by evening. The only exception being the Kacheguda - Tirupati DD which runs one way and returns back the next day.

Presently there are 6 pairs of Double Decker Trains operating across the Indian Railway Network :

1. Chennai Central - Bangalore City DD.
2. Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central DD.
3. Delhi Sarai Rohilla – Jaipur DD.
4. Hyderabad Kacheguda – Guntur DD.
5. Hyderabad Kacheguda – Tirupati DD.
6. Indore – Bhopal Habigang DD.
7. Lucknow - Delhi Anand Vihar Terminal DD.

4 out of the 7 have been captured in this video the rest are all powered by Electric Locomotives.
