Here is a great video to help those of you using light tackle, saltwater and freshwater. This knot is called the Spider Hitch. It is used to take a line and double the diameter of it. I use it flats fishing the Mosquito Lagoon, Indian River and Ponce Inlet with light tackle applications. It takes braided line, doubles the diameter of it allowing it(the braid) to be tied to a leader without being so thin to cut through it. Brings both the lines to equal sizes in diameter.

Florida Inshore Fishing Charters offers several different fishing trips and fishing light tackle fishing lessons. Including fly fishing and spin fishing sight fishing instructions.

Seasonal fishing charters for shark, cobia, triple tail, king fish, snapper, grouper, tarpon, snook. Along with year round inshore light tackle charters near Orlando for Redfish, trout and black drum.
